All blinds can be paired to your Smart Home Automation system. Hunter Douglas PowerView™ Gen 3 system allows you to control the blinds with a push of a button, your smartphone, or your voice. Cordless options are available as well.
What control options can I get for my blinds?
Faux wood blinds are more affordable than real wood options and offer 50+ color choices. Faux wood is a better choice for rooms with higher humidity levels like bathrooms and kitchens. They also resist fading, yellowing, warping, and bowing, but are heavier in weight. Real wood blinds provide higher insulation, providing additional warmth to any room and their stains and paint colors maintain their luster over time. They are also lighter in weight but are not a good solution for windows in a high humidity and heat environment. Both real and faux wood blinds can be motorized.
Should I Go Faux or Real Wood?
We recommend blinds when the customer wants a classic wood or wood-like option and/or the ability to view outside by tilting the vanes open and closed, versus lifting.
